I was really into this in Acts I and II. But I hated the conclusion.
(Spoiler warning, though without details)
Of course, I hated it as fluffy cheeful singalong entertainment. I didn’t expect it to become deep.
But it did.
People who will stop at nothing to save the world end up stripped of everything they hope for except the raw acquisition of power for its own sake.
This may be the story of every Presidential bid.
